We use prototyping, observation, and repeated cycles of Build-Measure-Learn where failure is a source of new information.

We start by asking: Why is something the way it is? What tensions, needs, and desires have influenced it? From this understanding, we envision how it could be — seeking a new balance that resonates with users, businesses, and environments.

The journey from “is” to “could be” is a dynamic, exciting process. We thrive on exploring, questioning, and challenging assumptions, drawing from proven methods while embracing fresh perspectives. The possibility of discovering something new, of redefining balance in meaningful ways, fuels our curiosity and creativity.

OUR STORY

OUR STORY

OUR STORY

Our story began, as many good ones do, late at night over models and coffee in Wuppertal, Germany. While studying Industrial Design, Martin and Christoph found themselves supporting each other's individual projects. It was during those sessions that the shared vision solidified: one day, they would open their own design studio. No formal plan was laid, but the foundation of common ambition was set.
Their paths soon stretched across the globe. Martin headed to the US for studies and an internship in Cincinnati, while Christoph landed in Seattle. After graduation, Martin started his journey as a junior designer at Phoenix Design in Stuttgart, and Christoph began freelancing for the iconic brand, Braun.
A year later, the opportunity arrived. Christoph's project scope at Braun expanded rapidly, and he called Martin with a simple question: Would he join as a freelancer to create product stories for the Braun website? Martin didn't hesitate. He quit his job, moved to Frankfurt, and the collaboration officially began.
The work kept growing, quickly attracting project inquiries from Braun, Oral-B, and Gillette. This organic, trusted growth provided the perfect foundation. In 2014, the partnership officially became andless, developing hundreds of projects that span industrial design, graphic design, and retail solutions. Today, we work from our Frankfurt studio, surrounded by a team of common minds dedicated to pushing those boundaries further.
